Vision
We envision continuing Anna Halprin’s Planetary Dance in the San Francisco Bay Area and growing the worldwide movement of diverse communities participating in this dance to embody Peace Among People and Peace with the Earth.
We are continuing Anna’s legacy of exploring the ancient language of ritual dance to address the needs of our local and global communities.
Mission
- Conduct Planetary Dances live in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as online.
- Serve as a hub for Planetary Dance resources and communications via website, social media, email and other channels.
- Guide and support Planetary Dance leaders and participants to conduct their own dances with a purpose in their communities.
- Explore alliances with other values-aligned organizations.
- Welcome making new ritual dances that advance the spirit of the Planetary Dance.
